I have been waiting to document this 550 Trackside Wedding since our first chat via Skype about a year ago!  This wedding day was 12 years in the making for our newlyweds!  You see, it all started on a youth retreat when they were both in high school.  He saw her, she saw him, he gave her a very cool (think teenagers) head nod – and the rest is history! They’re not only high school sweethearts but they were also long distance high school sweethearts! Both from opposite ends of the state, it all started with one date where they both met halfway at the Mall of Georgia.  Since then they’ve successfully navigated high school, college, med school, applying for residency, and planning a southern wedding in Georgia while living in Chicago.  There’s nothing these two can’t accomplish together!

Bride & Bridesmaids

Our beautiful bride to be spent the morning with her mom, sister, and gorgeous bridesmaids getting pampered in the bridal suite at 550 Trackside.  These ladies were all smiles and full of joy as they watched Courtney’s bridal look all come together.  Speaking of bridal look – this stunning satin fit and flare dress fit Courtney like it was designed just for her!  Tyler’s face as he sees her walking up the aisle says it all… (keep scrolling)

I’m not sure which I love more – dad’s reaction to seeing his daughter as a bride or Courtney’s mom, Renee and sister, Lauren’s reaction to watching Ed react!  Melt my heart, I LOVE this family!

Groom & Groomsmen

Our groom, Tyler, and his guys spent the afternoon getting ready at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church.  As long as Courtney and Tyler have been together, some of this wedding party don’t know one without the other.  I just love that!  Both Tyler and Courtney shared multiple times how they just know God designed them each for the other.

Once all the guests were seated and the groom was in place, it was time for Courtney to be escorted by her father.   Tyler’s breath was taken back as he laid eyes on his bride to be!  They held hands, shared vows, exchanged rings, prayed, and received communion, all to seal it with the kiss!  The first kiss of the rest of their lives together… what a beautiful and joy filled mass.

Formal Portraits

The photographers favorite part of the day (or at least it is ours) – portrait time!  One thing I love about photographing a Catholic wedding celebration is all the time we get in between the mass and the reception for portraits!  We had plenty of time to take pictures both at the church and at 550 Trackside Wedding Venue.  This gorgeous, sunny, summer afternoon made for gorgeous bright light images that my photographer heart happy!  The weather was so vastly different from their Christmas Eve Engagement Session but the love was the same.  These two are so easy to photograph they could be models!

Reception Pictures

Yeahhhhhh… it’s officially time to dance the night away!  Who doesn’t love a good wedding reception?! What’s not to love- great food, fun dancing, open bar, and a room full of friends and family celebrating the newlyweds!  Sign us up!  Thanks to an amazing team of vendors, everything went perfectly with out a single hiccup, the venue was decorated in gorgeous florals, and the guests never left the dance floor the empty.  This was a party not to be forgotten!

I always say the best way to end the night is running through a tunnel of your love ones literally cheering you on – add in fireworks or sparklers and you have one killer picture to remember it all by.  Courtney and Tyler, thank you so much for trusting us with your big day!  We pray your marriage is always full of joy, that God blesses you beyond your wildest prayers, and he leads you in places you’ve only dreamed of going!  Congratulations, you two!
