we are so excited to be this couple's commerce wedding photographers at Grant Hill Farms this coming fall!

When Traci called me about her wedding, she said they knew they had to have us!  You see, we photographed their neighbors’ – daughter’s wedding last year!  It’s so humbling (and exciting) when we make such an impression that the families are talking about us, too (thank you)!

Traci and I hit it off instantly; she’s so joyful, full of excitement, and I fell in love with their love story.  You see, these two met the old fashioned way; in public… unexpectedly.  That’s right – they had both essentially just gotten off work and headed over to grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant where Traci’s friend began speaking to a tall and handsome man she had never seen.  Once he introduced the two of them, they have been inseparable ever since.

One year ago this month, Traci took what she thought was a girls weekend to Chattanooga with her mom.  After brunch, shopping, and exploring, she and her mom headed up to Sunset Rock “to take pictures”.  As they began walking down the trail, she heard music playing and came upon pink rose petals all over the ground.  Both excited and nervous, she walked faster down the trail to find Tyler standing there with the biggest smile on his face. He took her hands, got down on one knee, and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.  If that isn’t the most dreamy proposal, I don’t know what is!

We had a last minute location change for their engagement session, and I couldn’t be more pleased about it!!! Getting to finally meet these two in person, just solidified everything I already knew about them. They are madly in love, fun, joyful, and just so down to earth.  Their wedding at Grant Hill Farms in the fall is sure to be an event to remember.  I truly believe God sends us the most amazing couples to work with.

If you’re still scrolling, I saved the best for last… the sunset, that we almost missed (we may have been a little lost), was breathtaking!  Like a painting gift from God himself. Totally worth jumping a fence and walking back in the dark for! Traci and Tyler, I hope you enjoy your images as much as I enjoyed creating them for you!  I can’t wait to see you in a few more months to do it all over again!
