We have been patiently waiting to photograph this Little River Farms Wedding ever since their engagement session last year!

When we arrived at the venue that afternoon, we headed straight to the gorgeous bridal suite to greet our amazing bride, Heather with hugs.  We were welcomed by her incredibly wonderful (and beautiful) bridesmaids and mother, Lisa. Then, the unexpected – Heather had a gift waiting for us!  She put together the most thoughtful gift complete with chocolate for energy, Gatorade for the heat, and even a bottle of bubbly to take home with us.  When I say we are blessed with the most amazing couples, I mean it – we truly have been (blessed)!  How incredibly thoughtful!  Not only do we pray for our couples and their marriages but we also thank God for them and the blessing that they are.  This group of ladies was such a breeze to work with, also!  They were funny, full of joy, and bared the 95* weather like champs!

Groom Getting Ready

I’m not going to lie – even though I had met our Groom, Andrew and knew fully I could recognize him, when Heather told me just two weeks earlier that he had an identical twin and that they would be wearing the same thing, I stressed!  I thought “oh no, am I going to be able to tell them apart” and “are they going to play tricks on us and see if we can tell the difference”… To be fair – if I were a twin, I would probably do the latter a time or two in my life.  I mean, who doesn’t love a good joke?! 🙂  THANKFULLY you can definitely tell them apart and I was worried for nothing! Ha!

This gets me every time…  One of Andrew’s best men was his dad and the other was his brother.  Doug was so proud to help his son put his finishing touches on. Aren’t they handsome?  I’m not crying – you’re crying.

Our bride wore this very dreamy A-line wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline while her bridesmaids coordinated in shades of blush and rose gold – a perfect look for a southern wedding.

The First Look

Our favorite part of the day is ALWAYS that first look!  This is the time that the groom locks eyes with his bride-to-be for the first time and they get a few moments to themselves without all the commotion of the day surrounding them.  Andrew was so sweet when he laid eyes on Heather all he could do was wrap his arms around her!

The Wedding Ceremony

The gazebo just out back behind the venue is the perfect spot for a romantic outdoor wedding.  The guests had arrived, our groom was in place, and as she was escorted by her sweet mom, Heather was glowing with joy to take her fiance by the hand and begin the rest of their lives together.  They shared their vows, exchanged the rings, and sealed it all with a kiss. Finally, they are announced as Mr. & Mrs. Ford as the confetti cannon rains on them to help celebrate the excitement!

The Reception

A celebration always calls for a good party, right?!  Well, this was definitely that!!!  Heather and Andrew showed off their sweet dance moves just before the band took over to open the dancefloor for an evening filled with fun and dancing. This was truly a night that will never be forgotten!

From the moment the sun rose over the horizon that morning to the full moon hanging over the Little River Farms pond, it was all just perfect.  Heather and Andrew, thank you for trusting us with your wedding day and your precious memories and thank you to your families who are both absolutely amazing!  May your marriage be blessed, may you have many adventures, and may you always celebrate each other as you did on this day!
