It all started with a first look… well, actually it was first kick!  These two met on an intramural kickball team in Manhattan, NY, and bonded as they got to know each other and realize how much they had in common.  Here’s a secret for you, they were so close that Emily tried to play matchmaker for Michael until she realized that it was her – she was his match!  Michael was very happy she came to her senses ;0)

Does it get any more romantic than blush pink and soft grey?!  This wedding party was dressed to impress but what really impressed was how amazing, joyful, and serving each of them were!  This group was a true joy to be around and with friends like Emily and Micheal, it’s easy to see why they were present on the big day!!!

When the bride and groom shared the sweetest vows it was obvious that these two have a truly soul satisfying connection!  They both give 100% in everything they do and I’m not just talking about planning this perfect wedding from several states away… they both are brilliant, driven, competitive in the best ways, and loyal to each other and their loved ones.  How I get to call this a ‘job’ is beyond me! It was such an honor to be present for such a beautiful ceremony of the two becoming one.

The stunning set up by Weddings by Epic was absolutely jaw-dropping!  From the fully floral’ed staircase to the romantic centerpieces, this decor kept your eyes looking at all the pretty things!  While guests finished up their tasty meals, my new favorite DJ’s that are more of a Master of Ceremonies, kept the party going and the dance floor full all night long!  Then, lets talk about this cake!!! The cake you see below is COMPLETELY ICE CREAM!  When Emily called me looking to see if I knew anyone that could pull it off – I turned to social media and my local tribe did not disappoint! Four Fat Cows was down for the task!  When I saw it, I couldn’t believe it!  Seriously, this was a party that will never be forgotten!

The End Is Just The Beginning

I always tell my couples that the wedding day is the stepping stone into the rest of their lives together.  I see it so fitting that you end your wedding day running through a tunnel of your loved ones cheering you on as you depart for your honeymoon. Is there any a more perfect way to end the most joyful day of your lives, yet?!

Emily and Michael, it was truly a privilege to serve you with my God-given gift!  I pray you two always keep each others joy as a priority, that you are blessed beyond measure, and that you both get to see your wildest dreams come true!  Thank you for trusting me with your big day!!! Love y’all!
