North Georgia Wedding Photographers | Betty’s Creek Barn | Stephanie + Ryan | Dillard, GA
One of the best things about hosting a wedding in Northeast Georgia is the beautiful mountain views, farmland, and of course the friendly people everywhere you go! When we first met Stephanie at the Northeast Georgia Bridal show back in January, she was a bride full of joy and smiles and so excited to start planning her wedding! I remember our first phone conversation when she was telling me about Betty’s Creek Barn and just how beautiful it was! She said that from the moment she visited the venue she knew this was where she wanted to say “I do” to the love of her life, Ryan! Now as I sit here drooling over her wedding images, I can’t believe we just finished her wedding photography! It seems like just last month we had their engagement session!
There could not have been a more beautiful day in October for a mountainside wedding! Stephanie and her bridesmaids showed up with so much excitement as they all got ready for the ceremony on location at this cute little bridal cottage by the lake. Meanwhile down the road, the groom and his groomsmen were getting ready in a cabin nearly on top of a Rabun Gap mountain. I loved all of the details about this wedding! It’s always nice to see all the hard work and planning come together.
This venue is gorgeous! They were wed under a pergola wrapped in beautiful pink Roses and Hydrangeas in front of the lake on the property and the reception followed in the gorgeous wooden barn designed just for events. The rest of the evening was both fun and relaxed and we were just blessed to be there to capture every moment of it! Thank you Stephanie and Ryan! We love ya’ll and will continue to pray that you both are blessed with a marriage full of joy!
Stephanie’s dress may be one of my favorite dresses to date! Just check out all that fluff and fun at the bottom; and the lace up corset back is a beautiful and romantic way to embellish a wedding gown! Now, lets talk Tweed! If you’ve planned a wedding recently, you may know that Tweed for the groom and groomsmen are very in right now! It’s a style that is also hard to find! So when the men showed up at Betty’s Creek in Tweed, my jaw dropped! The men were so handsome and might I say, dapper in their Tweed suits!Stephanie’s dress may be one of my favorite dresses to date! Ryan and Stephanie opted to have a First Look; this is where the bride and groom see each other for the first time all dressed up BEFORE the ceremony. The First Look has become one of the most popular options and is a new tradition. This allows the couple to see each other in a quiet and nearly private environment, allowing them to talk, hug, kiss, cuddle, laugh, and whatever they want! Often times this is the only moment they will truly spend alone on a Wedding Day until it is all over. The First Look allows the bride and groom to just enjoy each other for a few minutes and celebrate the beginning of their new life together! After the First Look we went right into taking their Bride and Groom Portraits, this also allows for them to get to the reception sooner! When it was time to hide the bride and groom for the guests to arrive, Ryan and Stephanie went back to enjoying the company of their bridal party.
