Copey Creek Wedding Pictures | Clarkesville, GA | Hannah+Cory
I have been waiting for this lovely Copey Creek Wedding ever since these I met these two lovebirds for engagement session just a few months ago! Hannah and Cory met in college at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs) and have been pretty inseparable ever since. They both have an immense love for the Lord and know that God is at the center of everything they are and that will take them so far in this life!
The Copey Creek Wedding Venue is located on a family farm in Clarkesville, Georgia (and it’s run by the most incredible and fun-loving family, too) overlooking the North Georgia Mountains.

Hannah and her friends spent the morning getting pampered at the Bridal Suite on site at Copey Creek Farm. I loved meeting her ladies – some of them from Maine, where our bride is from, some of them from here in Georgia. Together, Hannah and her bridesmaids all have the sweetest, kindest spirits. It was an absolute joy to capture them. Just look how beautiful they all are…
Our handsome groom, Cory, and his guys spent the morning at a nearby Air BnB called the Beacon Place Carriage House in Clarkesville. With his brother, Matthew, as his best man – there is no doubt that Cory would not only look great when he was fully dressed, but that he would have many words of wisdom imparted unto him. Seriously, what a great speech full of so much thoughtful wisdom that he gave at the reception!
This was the first time we’ve had the honor of photographing an indoor ceremony at Copey Creek Wedding Venue and it was so perfect! The inside is adorned with whitewashed shiplap for all of you Chip and JoJo fans! Oh, and being July, everyone very much welcomed the air conditioning 🙂
I just LOVE this moment when the groom first lays eyes on his soon-to-be wife! Cory was full of emotion as he and Hannah locked eyes! What a gift we receive when God gifts us with our spouse! Speaking of emotion, look at how proud Hannah’s brother is to be walking by his sister’s side!!! I’m not crying, you’re crying! Who am I kidding? I totally re-teared up as I was editing these! These two reminded me of God’s provision just by the way they interact with, look at, and cherish each other. I can’t wait to watch where life takes them!
A little prayer, some very sweet vows, ceremonial hand washing, exchanging of the rings, and finally the kiss! This was a truly intimate and personalized ceremony that will forever be cherished.
When you’re so excited to take Wedding Party Pictures that you dance your way to them… 🙂
Our most favorite part of the day!!! I always love the time we get to spend with just the bride and groom! It may be because this is the most “alone moment” the two of them will have together all day and we get to capture the joy of the moment for them or it may be just because I love our couples! We have been so blessed to have amazing couples, and Hannah and Cory are proof of that! These two are so sweet and you can tell that they just feel safe and home in each other’s arms.
Ohhhhhhhh yeah! Party Time! This Copey Creek Wedding Reception was not short on fun dance moves, friends and family fellowshipping, yummy food, and an Ice Cream Bar from Four Fat Cows in Athens! There’s no better way to celebrate a wedding than with family and friends celebrating joyfully together.
When the night comes to end and it’s time to say farewell to all of your guests, I can’t think of a better way to commemorate such a joyous day than by walking through a tunnel of your loved ones cheering you on and waving sparkly wands at you – even in the rain! Hannah and Cory, thank you so much for allowing Rick and I to be a part of your day! We pray your marriage is blessed with immeasurable joy and great adventures, always!
