Copey Creek Wedding Venue | Barn Wedding Venue in North Georgia

Copey Creek Wedding Venue in Clarkesville, Georgia is quickly becoming a popular barn venue in Northeast Georgia for all of your southern bridal dreams! Rick and I first met our bride, Megan and her groom, Galen at the open house hosted by Copey Creek last year. Well actually, Galen and I recognized each other and realized we had actually taken Japanese classes together the year before. You see, we all went to Piedmont College in Demorest; if you’ve read my 10 Things About Me post, you know I LOVED college and have been twice!

Megan and Galen first met at Piedmont where they had become good friends but it wasn’t until they tackled a Mass Communications project as a team that they realized they made a pretty good one (team). What I love most about this couple is their radiant love for the Lord! These two put God first in everything that they do – they first prayed for God to lead them if they should even begin dating! That takes a great kind of Faith; and Megan and Galen have it! [ Check out their Engagement Session! ]

One of the things unique to this wedding and Megan and Galen’s vision is that they wanted Relationships and God to be the center of their entire day. They were so creative in achieving the vision with the use of oversized games for their guest to play instead of a typical dance floor. I absolutely loved how the guests were able to mingle and have fun in a non-traditional way. I also now want a few of these oversized games in my own yard for my next family outing (check out the giant ker-plunk in the images below).

Megan made an absolutely stunning bride and nothing accents a beautiful bride better than her happy new husband! Just look at the smile on Galen’s face as they walk back down the aisle after being announced as Mr. and Mrs. for the very first time! As genuine, kind, and truly amazing that these two are – I’m sure they’re going to accomplish great things together! We were so very honored and blessed that Megan and Galen chose us to celebrate alongside them at Copey Creek Wedding Venue and we’re happy to share these images with you! Enjoy!
