Is it just me or is this year flying by already?  It seems like just yesterday our bride and groom contacted me about their Georgia Museum of Art Wedding and we were discussing their wedding photography dreams.  I remember our first phone call like it was yesterday and it seems like their beautiful fall engagement session was just last month!  Well, either way these two lovebirds are officially husband and wife and we couldn’t be more excited that we got to be the ones to capture their beautiful wedding day for them!

University of Georgia Hotel

Briana and Tristan started their day getting ready for their wedding at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel in Athens, Georgia; yes, UGA has their own hotel!  Our bride was surrounded by her lovely mother, her gorgeous bridesmaids, two very handsome bridesmen, and the cutest little flower girls!!!

Our groom and his groomsmen were just down the hall in their own suite getting ready.  While all these men sure looked good in their navy suits and pink ties, I have to mention that the three youngest boys were the cutest things ever!!!

Georgia Museum of Art Wedding Venue in Athens, GA

Once we arrived at the Georgia Museum of Art Wedding Venue the sky fell on us; it seems like it has rained almost every weekend this season. But that’s ok!  It was actually a small cloud and we waited it out.  Once it dried up we had some fun with the bridal parties separately.  Briana and Tristan chose to go the traditional route and they waited to the aisle to see each other. Tristan’s reaction is priceless!!!

I absolutely LOVE our brides choice of blush pink bridesmaids dresses and navy suits with pink ties for the men!!! Her sweetheart neckline mermaid wedding gown fit like it was made just for her and she was absolutely glowing in it!!!  Look how happy she is!!!

Georgia Museum of Art Wedding Ceremony

The sun came up for their early evening ceremony on the patio at the Georgia Museum of Art and it was beautiful!  As Briana was escorted by her two dad’s, Tristan couldn’t hold his emotions in.  His reaction to seeing his bride walk towards him is the most beautiful thing!  See for yourself…

Georgia Museum of Art Wedding Pictures

After they exchanged their vows, placed the wedding rings on each other’s fingers, and sealed their promises with the kiss, they were officially Husband and Wife!  They walked back down the aisle with the biggest smiles on their faces which meant it was time for our favorite part of the day: the bride and groom portraits!!! These are the images our couples will frame, put on canvases, in their albums, and cherish forever.  These pictures of themselves will grace the walls of their home for their lifetime. This is our favorite part of the day!  As you scroll through and see their love for each other, you’ll understand why we LOVE what we do so much.

Georgia Museum of Art Wedding Reception

The time finally came to celebrate the night away at the reception.  Briana and Tristan had DJ Kidd spinning and he had everyone dancing!!! My second favorite part of the day is the dancing; you’ll almost always find me on the dance floor 🙂 .

Briana and Tristan, thank you so much for trusting Rick and I as your wedding photographers! It was the such an honor to be there for you and celebrate alongside you two!  We pray God blesses you both abundantly with more than your hearts could ever ask or imagine for!
