Steven Furtick is probably one of my favorite speakers. His words and delivery are so powerful you practically want to jump right up and plow full steam ahead into action!  His “thing”- his mission,  is FAITH! He’s always encouraging us to dream greater, believe greater, and be GREATER!

I recently re-read this book around Christmas time. It was a GREAT and inspiring way to kick start my new year. This is the first book (other than THE Book) I’ve ever read more than once. God has used these words to remind me not to dwell on the past, to leave my “lesser” life behind for the GREATER one ahead. If you feel God calling you to something new but you can’t find the Faith to jump in, Furtick reminds us that you may miss your moment. You may miss your calling! He uses the story of Elijah and Elisha to illustrate for us how it applies to everyday life; Elisha “burns his plows” and follows the plans God has for him. The result: a GREATER life.

You see it doesn’t matter what the GREATER thing God has for you is, it matters that you have the FAITH to follow after it. I highly recommend this read to anyone in search of something GREATER.
