Maeve+Jesse | Northeast Georgia Engagement Photography
(Note:I recently migrated my blog to the new web address; this is a copy of a 2015 blog)
Now that it is official, I’m excited to blog about this engagement! I first met Maeve at a non-profit ministry that is dear to me. She serves her little heart out as a leader, mentor, and friend to the women who know her. Maeve and Jesse also met similarly-in ministry. Together they have their hearts on God and their eyes on each other.
Can you tell that it rained on us the first several minutes of their session? It didn’t rain all day until the moment before our appointment. We laughed it off and had a walk around a local park to capture these beautiful images. When it was time to wrap up the session, these two were not afraid to get a little dirty. I just wanted a few shots on the pretty damp ground and they were up for the task! I joined them on the wet ground to capture these shots and it was so worth it! Note to self: pack a few towels.
As we discovered places to shoot, we chatted about the story of their love for each other. I am honored to know that much more about these two because of the time we spent together. I believe this is why it is important to have an engagement session; it allows us photographers to bond with our clients in a way that makes us feel like old friends by the time the wedding day rolls around. Speaking of which, I’m so excited to announce that Maeve will officially become a Five Fourteen bride in February of 2016. She is everything I envision in a Five Fourteen bride, she has a smile that lights up the room as much as her spirit does. I cannot wait to hang out with these two at their wedding and to capture all of their moments for them. Thank you Maeve and Jesse for choosing Five Fourteen.
