I can’t say enough good things about Misty and Clint! We first met Misty at the Northeast Georgia Bridal Show in Helen, GA. One of her first questions for us was about traveling… when she mentioned her dreams of a beach wedding, we instantly coined the term #BeachDreams and told her we’d go wherever she wanted us to!  It wasn’t long before we met both her and Clint for coffee in Gainesville and we were falling in love with their ideas for the  #CampBeachWedding  at the Allota Colada Beach House in Miramar Beach, FL.

Clint may have surprised Misty with an amazing New York proposal, but their engagement session in the country sure was amazing too!  She’s loyal and kind – he’s fun and outgoing; together, they make a perfect couple!

 

We met at Hurricane Shoals Park in Maysville, Georgia. This is a great location because it is open to the public, has lots of options, beautiful light, and lots of space!  It is not uncommon to run into other photographers here during the golden hour. These two were naturals in front of the camera!  It took very little direction for this couple to snuggle, smooch, laugh, and have fun. It’s who they are naturally, and it shows!

After getting to know Misty and Clint more, we found out all sorts of cool stuff!  Clint for example, was the umpire in one of our favorite movies: Blended! Seriously… why are Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore not married in real life?  Oh and something I never joke about: Almond Joy’s! What?!! YES!  She shares the love for my favorite candy! She’s a daredevil too… she might disagree, but Misty did not argue about climbing onto rugged boulders in those fabulous wedges!  I’d say it was worth it, I mean look at these shots…

Have I yet mentioned that this was one of the funnest Engagement Sessions to date?!!

One hour was not enough time with these two!  We tried to keep shooting, but the park ranger had to either kick us out or lock us in… since it was dinner time and you do not want to see me hangry, we wrapped up the session. I am a foodie after all!  So we left, but not before finishing up the evening with a few more sweet portraits…

Rick and I are very grateful that Misty and Clint chose Five Fourteen Photography to not only capture their Engagement Photos, but to also travel with them to Miramar Beach for their Destination Wedding! November can’t get here soon enough!!!
