We just LOVE a Military Wedding!  Our beautiful bride, Sara and her handsome groom, Jacob have been dating since high school.  He proposed to her on Memorial weekend this past year and now that they’ve wed, Sara has joined Jacob in El Paso where he is stationed with the U.S. Army.  It was such a joy to meet these two and serve them as their wedding photographers on their wedding day!

Wedding Ceremony at Transfiguration Catholic Church

The bride and groom began their day at the Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA where Sara has been attending since she was a child.  She and Jacob chose to share in a First Look and what a sweet one it was!  You can see the look on Jacobs face as his jaw drops as he sees her in her white lace mermaid wedding gown for the first time!  After they shared some sweet moments together, we had fun creating gorgeous bride and groom portraits at the church.

Roswell Mill Club Reception

After the sweet ceremony led by Sara’s priest, we all headed to the Roswell Mill Club for the reception.  Thankfully, the bride scheduled additional time prior to the reception starting so that we also were able to capture more beautiful images down at the covered bridge and Roswell Mill.  Thier bridal party was one of the funniest to date!  The bridesmaids were absolutely stunning in their maroon chiffon bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen were handsome in their dress blues and black tuxes!  After the bridal party fun, we took a few moments to recreate images from Sara and Jacob’s prom!  This is where they took their prom pictures in high school!!! How sweet and sentimental is that?

Once the reception started there was no keeping our fun-loving bride off the dance floor!  This lady has moves ya’ll!  We had so much fun with these two and are so blessed and grateful they chose Rick and I to capture their memories for them.  We continue to pray that God blesses them, keeps them safe in thier travels, covers them in a hedge of protection, and in Jacob’s service to our country, He always brings them back into each other’s loving arms safely.  Thank you guys for trusting us with your big day!
