Chelsi and Carlos both currently live in Birmingham, Alabama and work at UAB Hospital-where they first met. As you may be able to tell by the uniform, Carlos serves our country proudly as a member of the United States Army. Thank you for your service, Carlos! These two are sweet, kind, and they both have hearts for God. Chelsi loves serving on medical mission trips to Africa and Carlos is headed to medical school in the Caribbean. Can you just imagine what these two will be able to accomplish together?!!

They both love the outdoors! In fact, Carlos proposed to Chelsi while kayaking together! Which is why I love the location they picked for their engagement photos-Watson Mill State Park in Comer, Georgia. We pushed the original session back a day to wait out the rain from the recent tropical storm, but we had planned weeks in advance for a backup weather day since they were traveling so far. It paid off-because the sun and gorgeous natural light in these images just can’t be beat!!!

Yes, they drove all the way from Alabama for their Engagement Session! Chelsi’s family is just north of Atlanta and they will be marrying on their family farm in Lawrenceville in just a couple of months! Rick and I are honored to be there with them in August for their beautiful barn wedding and are excited to wish them well as they embark on their new lives as a married couple in St. James! We’re still trying to talk them into taking us with them- Seriously, who doesn’t want to go to the Caribbean?!!
