Engagement season is in full swing for us wedding photographers and we couldn’t be more ecstatic about our first engagement session of 2017! I feel like it has been FOREVER since we’ve had a true “Golden Hour” session that fell on a bright and cloudless day! You can tell by these images that it is officially spring!

Karen found us online and after one phone call, I knew we would love them! She and Mike drove all the way from Raleigh, North Carolina for their session and to spend the weekend planning their North Georgia Wedding that will be at Betty’s Creek Barn in the fall. As we walked around the park we learned all about how they met, the small group they led-that led them closer together, how they were friends before lovers, and how God finally showed Karen that her groom had been right in front of her all along! Rick and I laughed because our story is similar and yet different at the same time! When Mike looks at Karen, you can tell he’s at home; he holds her so tightly and smiles so fiercely when they’re close. We couldn’t be more in love with our jobs than we are after meeting such a joyful couple and knowing we get to spend their wedding day serving them!
