This year has truly flown by!  How on earth I’m already blogging this Walnut Hill Farms Wedding when it feels like just last month we were at their engagement session!?  These newlyweds are truly one of the sweetest couples we have had the joy of meeting!  When they were dating, they both lived in different states! As the wedding approached, Matt made the move closer to his bride here in Georgia where they now both get to call “home sweet home”.  They had a very elegant country-chic wedding at one of the cutest updated barn venues here in Northeast Georgia.

Bride & Bridesmaids

 

Ashley and her friends spent the morning getting ready in the bridal cabin on-site at Walnut Hill Farms.  When it was time to slip our bride to be into her dress, we slipped her over to the cute bridal suite for a little privacy while her mom, Patty and sister, Jessica, helped her get ready.  Once she slipped on her stunning lace-back ballgown style wedding dress, it was time to reveal her look to the ladies!  I just love their reaction! Oh, and speaking of the ladies,  nothing says fall wedding better than pops of bold colors, like Ashley’s choice of bridesmaid’s dresses in burgundy!  Don’t they all look amazing?!

Groom & Groomsmen

Rick gets to hang out with the groomsman for the early part of the day; I don’t get to see these photos until we are home, after the wedding is already over.  I love how (when looking through them) I could feel the joy and excitement that our groom, Matt was feeling.  I’ve gotten to know by now, that this guy absolutely adores his woman!  You can tell by the way he carries himself when he’s around her and the way he just can’t take his eyes off of her.  There is no doubt in my mind that he knows how truly blessed he is!  Just check him and the guys out – all sharp looking in their navy suits…

Daddy-Daughter First Look

Ashley and Matt chose to see each other at the altar, but that didn’t stop us from catching these sweet emotions of daddy’s first look at his little girl!

Wedding Ceremony

The ringbearers on their John Deere tractors almost stole the show… that is, until you catch Matt looking at his bride and your heart absolutely melts!!!  These two shared sweet vows, tied a 3-braided chord, exchanged rings, and finally kissed for the first time as Mr. and Mrs.!  It was a perfect ceremony and a perfect day!  We were just honored to capture it and witness it for ourselves.

Bride & Groom Portraits

Finally, our favorite time of day!!!  The joy was abundant as the two just officially became one!  It was such a pleasure and a treat to have perfectly timed golden hour portraits and spend it with the sweetest couple in the world!  Ashley was absolutely glowing and Matt just couldn’t keep his eyes off of her…

The Reception

Now, this is the part I would say everyone looks forward to!  What better way to celebrate than to share a meal, yummy cake, and your best dance moves with your greatest friends?!  It was a perfect end to an amazing day that I’m certain they will be reliving the memories for many years to come.

Sparkler Exit

I just can’t with these two!  Not only did they nail their sparkler dip-kiss photo, then they shared the sweetest raw moment of just gazing into each other’s eyes with absolute excitement!  Ashley and Matt, thank you so much for choosing Rick and I to celebrate alongside of you for your big day!  I’m still feeding off the joy I received from it!  Praying God blesses you beyond your wildest prayers and takes you to amazing heights!   Love ya’ll!
