I was so exited to meet Taylor and Jorge for their engagement session at the Walters Barn in Lula, Georgia!  This barn wedding venue in northeast Georgia is absolutely beautiful! We met early one morning last week for their session and I’d say it was one of the first of the chilly mornings here in Georgia.  Fall has finally decided to show up!  Jorge had no problem keeping his beautiful fiance Taylor, warm though! Can I get an amen for their fall cranberry colors!!!  I LOVE fall! Or how we say it in the south, “It’s fall y’all”!  The trees and the leaves made a gorgeous backdrop for this session! We also were photobombed on a few occasions by a very friendly donkey; or as Rick would say, (in his best Shrek ogre voice)  “Dooooon-Key”!  🙂

Taylor and Jorge are one lucky couple!  First off- let us all give thanks to our Marine, Jorge and all those who serve our country proudly! Thank you!!!  Now, let me tell you about the Soirees Southern Event benefit that was held later in the summer… This year the Walter’s Barn open house served to also benefit the Wounded Warrior Project AND one lucky couple would win a nearly complete wedding!  At least one of the recipients of the wedding had to be either active military, retired, wounded warrior, or first response and had to be nominated by family and friends.  I’ve heard their story folks, and it is an amazing one! It is not my story to tell, but know that these two are well deserving of this special day and Rick and I are beyond excited to be there capturing it for them in the spring!
