Patty and Richard’s wedding day started out at the historic Wayfarer Hotel in downtown Monroe, Georgia, where our bride and groom spent the morning getting ready.  The reception was right downstairs at the Wayfarer Music Hall Venue and it is the quaintest little wedding venue right in the heart of the city of Monroe that has so much charm!

The Wedding Dress

Patty made the most gorgeous bride! I loved when she was telling me about her and her mom shopping for the dress together, which is why the image of them together by the dress just touches my heart. Speaking of wedding dresses, this satin v-neck illusion wedding gown with a full tulle skirt was jaw drop-stunning on her!

I love the reaction from the bridesmaids when they see their friend as a bride!

St. Anna’s Catholic Church

Our bride and groom chose to have a first look, which you know we LOVE for so many reasons!  Richard said several times that he was so glad they chose to have the first look.  As you can see in their images below, he was completely speechless when he saw his bride for the first time!

The wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful St. Anna’s Catholic Church in Monroe.  I love the look of this church, it reminds me of Rosemary Beach with all of it’s beautiful white charm.  Once the bride and groom exchanged wedding rings, promised their vows to each other, and sealed it all with a kiss, they were officially Mr. and Mrs. !

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the evening with good friends, food, and drinks at the Wayfarer Music Hall.  We had such an amazing day capturing the newlyweds and all of their special moments as they unfolded!  Patty & Richard, thank you for trusting Rick and I with your big day!
