When our Bride, Megan first contacted us through Wedding wire, it wasn’t long before we were on the phone talking about her plans for a beautiful Whitlock Inn Wedding and chatting about her vision for her Marietta wedding photography!  Just a few weeks after our first phone call we were already meeting for their gorgeous engagement session in piedmont park.

Last year flew by so quickly! I still can’t believe we are already in full swing for the 2018 wedding season!  This Whitlock Inn Wedding in Marietta was the perfect start to the year!!! I started out the morning with the ladies at their AirBnB just down the road while Rick hung out with the guys and our groom, Ben at their hotel suite.  I got the morning off with the details, which I LOVE!  When our couples are getting ready in the same location, Rick usually shoots the details while I’m covering the girls getting ready- then he heads to the guys, since they don’t need as much coverage time.  So naturally, when I get to shoot the details it’s like a treat!

Once our bride’s hair and makeup were complete, we all headed over to the Whitlock Inn to get her in her wedding dress!!! This gorgeous lace and tulle wedding gown was made for Megan! She was absolutely stunning – as you can tell by look in Ben’s face when he sees her for the first time!

First Look Wedding Pictures

This bride and groom decided to have a first look, which if you’ve been following us long- you know we LOVE them and our clients LOVE them too! They allow us to get so many more portraits of the bride and groom and it allows them to get their nerves out before walking down the aisle to say their vows.

Ben and Megan’s bridal party was full of their closest friends and they were all just as wonderful as our couple!  With their good friend officiating the ceremony, and in front of their loved ones, the two said “I Do” and sealed their promises to each other as husband and wife with a kiss!

I couldn’t be happier for such a sweet, friendly, beautiful, and genuine couple!  These two deserve a lifetime of joy and blessings and we will be praying these things for them!
