Yonah Mountain Vineyards Wedding Pictures | Jessie & Matt
What a gorgeous fall weekend it was for this Yonah Mountain Vineyards Wedding in Cleveland, Georgia! It had just previously rained for a solid week straight, so when I brag on the weather – I mean it was a true gift! I’m not sure how our summer flew by so fast and we’re sitting here so close to the Christmas Season already. It seems like just yesterday we met our lovely couple for their lakeside engagement session in the mountains!

Yonah Mountain Vineyards has one of the most breath-taking views in North Georgia!
We started the morning with our amazing bride, Jessie, and her girls. These have got to be some of the most easy-going bridesmaids we’ve ever met! While they spent the morning relaxing and sipping on Northeast Georgia’s finest wine, I couldn’t help but be thankful for this day. This was our last wedding weekend of 2018 and it was already starting out to be simply perfect!
Jessie was absolutely stunning in her sweetheart neckline fit-and-flare bridal gown – just look at her glowing! The ladies all complimented her beautifully in their dusty blue bridesmaid dresses. Now, let’s talk about these romantic white and greenery bouquets! Ahhhhhhhhhh… please don’t ever let eucalyptus go out of style! The wedding world is so in love with it and we’re so in love with these!
This group of groomsmen was nothing short of fun! Matt and his guys have been friends since high school and I think that really says something about these guys and their bond. I’m not going to get sentimental on you, however; instead, I’m going to talk about how you can’t go wrong with men in black tuxes! Look how handsome (and sharp) these guys are!!!
Just as the sun began getting close to the treeline, our bride began her walk up the aisle to her groom, who, never took his eyes off of her. It was a ceremony as sweet as it was charming. When the officiant is the father of the groom, there’s bound to be a few laughs and even, a few tears. As Jessie and Matt shared their vows and exchanged rings in front of their family and friends, the two officially became one when they sealed it with a kiss. It was perfect!
This sweet moment (above) where dad holds on to his daughter’s hand for a few extra moments may be my favorite image of the year!
Our favorite part of the entire day is always the time we get to spend with just the bride and groom. Jessie and Matt were so full of joy just after their ceremony and it truly shows! When Jessie met Matt (the old fashioned way, in public), she knew there was something so special about him that even after she initially left the place they were, she went back to chat – a decision that impacted both of their lives forever, in such an amazing way! Matt has a way of making Jessie not only smile, but glow! You can just tell these two are at home when they’re in each other’s arms.
Everyone loves a great reception and this one did not disappoint! When you have a beautifully decorated room full of your loved ones, delicious food, great wine, and a top-notch wedding band, well, you have yourself a great time! Everyone danced the night away and we always love seeing everyones best moves!
I like to think the grand exit is more of a grand entrance – it may be celebrate end of their first day as husband and wife, but it’s just a taste of the beginning of the rest of their lives together as one. Jessie and Matt, thank you so much for trusting Rick and I with your big day! We pray God blesses you both with an abundance of joy, a lifetime of great adventures, and all of your hearts desires!
