It’s open to the public year round!  This gorgeous vineyard sits literally on the top of the mountains and has the most beautiful view of God’s creation!  It’s a bride’s dream wedding venue located in North Georgia!!!

We were so excited to finally meet our bride and groom, Katie and Yates on their wedding day!  That’s right, we didn’t meet them until their wedding day!  It’s ok, I’ve been following Katie on Instagram ever since our first chat over the phone; so we weren’t complete strangers (is this where I type out “lol”?)!

You see, these two have been dating over 4 years after having met at Georgia Southern where they had classes together.  Now that they’ve graduated, Katie has the joy of traveling all over as she is a flight attendant. At the time of our first call, Yates was in Artillery School stationed in Oklahoma.  Don’t mess with this guy, he serves our country proud as a Marine. He has the privilege of shooting what he calls “God’s Guns”!

When we arrived at Yonah Mountain Vineyards Wedding Venue that gorgeous morning, we gave out hugs, introduced ourselves, and got right to work.  I couldn’t help but stand in awe of this gorgeous wedding and just be thankful for the way God ordains our steps!  With this wedding, we had the pleasure of working with the top Luxury Wedding Vendors in the state of Georgia!  Proof of the Pudding catered the reception and they broke out the big guns!

The cuisine was unlike anything you’ve ever seen or eaten before!  The jaw-dropping florals and event design from Your Event Solution were a bride’s dream!  We can’t forget The Baking Grounds talent. Blush Pink Wedding Dreams

Our bride, Katie did a fabulous job with her blush pink color palette and picking out her simple, elegant, and classic wedding dress!  There is something that has to be said about a bride with what I call, “Jackie O.” taste!  Katie and all of her bridesmaids were as beautiful inside as they were out. Their blush pink bridesmaids dresses brought out this beauty.

Our Marine Groom was nothing short of handsome in his Dress Blues!  When you see the exit to the ceremony below, you will see a traditional Military Arch of Sabres (Sword Ceremony). This is where our bride and groom walk under the Arch created by the Marines.  As they pass through, the men lower their Sabres not letting them pass until they kiss.  Once they do, the last Marine on the end swats the bride with his Sabre on the bottom and says “Welcome to the family”.  It truly is a beautiful thing to witness!

Katie and her groom, Yates chose to have a First Look; this is our favorite part of the day!  It gave them time to surprise each other, enjoy each other, and just be themselves without their 150+ guests watching.  As you scroll through the images below, you will see the raw emotion our bride has when she turns to see herself in the mirror for the first time and then again, when she sees her groom and he sees her as his bride!  These two are so in love, so kind, and so deserving of a lifetime of happiness!
