When we first met Megan and Galen at Copey Creek Farm’s open house last year, Galen and I had one of those “Hey, I know you… but where from?!” moments…  We took Japanese I & II together at Piedmont College several years ago!  I just adored them when we met that day!  Megan is sweet, kind, joyful, and you can tell she’s just a humble and giving person. Her and Galen are college sweethearts, they share a love for the Lord, interest in communications, and enjoy watching funny You-Tube videos together! The both of them have naturally playful spirits when they are around each other; as I was moving around changing things up they were often dancing and twirling around together. So adorable!

We started their engagement session at the school Megan works for in Rabun Gap.  It is gated private property; so when she said she could get us in and that we could host their engagement session there, I was naturally excited! This campus is gorgeous and has so much history! These two also scoped us out some amazing cherry blossom trees in downtown Clayton and it was so worth it to get the portraits below! Rick actually climbed the tree to shake the blossoms off! This was a first for us, but probably won’t be a last! The cherry blossom tree images are some of my new all time faves! Oh, and then lets talk about the lake, overgrown wheat, and mountain backdrop images… Hello gorgeousness! I love my job!

We are excited about their wedding in the fall but even more excited to see them as they grow as a husband and wife team! We are so thankful that they chose us to capture their special day and look forward to serving them in any way we can! Enjoy!
