We had the pleasure of photographing this stunning engagement session on the brand new Copey Creek Wedding Venue site where these two will be wed later this year! We absolutely adore Katelyn and Sam! We met Katelyn at the Northeast Georgia Bridal show in Helen, Georgia this past January. Turns out we all go to the same church! Our church has multiple services so it’s hard to get to know everyone, but we are glad we now know a few more good people! Before long we were having coffee with her and her mom, Tammy and booking this engagement session!

All of these images were taken in Clarkesville, Georgia at Copey Creek – Northeast Georgia’s newest wedding venue. They will be getting married here in July and plan to use the land for years to come, for their family photos! How cool and sentimental is that?!! We met Sam for the first time at the e-session. This is part of the reason we love the e-sessions so much! It allows us quality time to get to know each other beforehand. That way, on the wedding day we’re like friends, or better yet-family! Then our brides and grooms are that much more comfortable in front of the lens on the biggest day of their life.

I always find that there is something really special about watching the way our couples lovingly look at each other in the eyes. Katelyn and Sam are no different! It is our job to make sure the couples are comfortable for their portrait session, but these two were naturals! These may be some of my most favorite images yet! They’re ROMANTIC… my FAVORITE kind!!!

We are extremely excited that we get to spend their wedding day with them and can not wait to capture them all over again!
