Getting Ready

This was a fun group!  Emily and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready in their adorable matching pajamas while the guys next door had the 90’s hip-hop music turned up and we were all entertained by it!  Emily chose to have a sweet bridesmaid reveal after her mom and sisters helped her slip into her wedding gown – and what a fabulous reaction it was!

First Look & Portraits

We’re always ecstatic when our bride and groom chose to have a first look!  Emily was a stunning bride in her all lace wedding dress and cathedral length veil; the smile on Josh’s face says it all!  After their intimate moment together, we walked around the square of downtown LaGrange for their Bride and Groom portraits, which I’m so in LOVE with!  Shortly after, the wedding party joined us so that we could get all of the images before the ceremony – ensuring everyone gets to hang out at the cocktail hour with their friends and family.  Who doesn’t want that?!

The beautiful space indoors at the Del’Avant center is modern and perfect for your indoor wedding dreams – for this October wedding it turned out to be 96 degrees outside!  Welcome to Georgia, where we never know what to expect, but everyone is thankful for air conditioning 🙂 .  Back to the ceremony, Emily and Josh exchanged the sweetest vows in front of their family and friends, shared their first kiss as Mr. & Mrs., and headed off to the cocktail hour and reception to celebrate.

The one image Emily really wanted was the veil in the wind – which can be challenging when your downtown and there isn’t much space without vehicles in the background.  Thankfully we found two options and I just couldn’t decide which one I liked better… so here they are for your viewing pleasure 🙂

The Reception

Finally the part everyone loves… food, dancing, cake, and celebration!   We love a good reception and when you have a wedding band on the scene, you’re almost guaranteed a fun and memorable one (reception)!  Rick and I had a blast celebrating alongside of the newlyweds with their amazing family and friends!  Emily & Josh, thank you for trusting us with your wedding memories!  We pray God blesses you both beyond measure and takes your marriage to places you’ve never dreamed of.
