Johns Creek Wedding Photographers | Natalie & Christopher at St. Ives Country Club
This Johns Creek Wedding at St. Ives Country Club was just what my soul needed!!! There is officially a new found sense of joy that micro-weddings bring me! My bride’s mom called and booked me just 3 weeks before the big day! You see my couple, Natalie and Chris were on their THIRD rescheduled date and were throwing together a completely new plan! The original wedding was planned well over a year in advance and it was supposed to happen in New York (where some very special family members live). But sometimes God has different plans and as long as we push through in Faith, we will see that no pandemic can cancel true LOVE!
The ladies began the day at Natalie’s mom’s house which is conveniently very close to the venue. Once hair and makeup was complete, we all packed up and headed on over to St. Ives Country Club to get the bride in her dress! Natalie’s romantic lace wedding gown was so perfect for her personality that I’m convinced it was designed just for her! As her mom, sweet sister, and dear friend helped her finish her bridal look, the soon to be husband was just upstairs hanging out with his guys as they anxiously awaited the big moment!
Oh we all know my heart skips a beat for First Looks and this one did not disappoint! Just look at their reactions…
The ladies were simply breathtaking in their blush pink bridesmaids dresses and we all already know I’m head over heels for navy groomsmen suits! The newlyweds picked out the perfect romantic color palette for this summer wedding day!
The new summer wedding date called for an intimate indoor ceremony where Natalie and Christopher said their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the promises with the first kiss of their newly married lives together. It was truly such a sweet ceremony to witness!
One of the huge benefits of a micro wedding with a shorter family portrait list is having extra time for even more bride and groom portraits! We snuck the newlyweds outside just before the sun set for these romantic images and just look at how these two are glowing…
When it was time to celebrate, this crowd did not hold back! The party may have been small but the floor was packed and the dance-moves were in full force! We all (myself and my associate included) had a blast celebrating the night away!
Is there any better way to enter into the rest of your lives together than by running through a tunnel of your loved ones cheering you on?! This has got to be one of my favorite wedding traditions!
Natalie & Christopher, I can not thank you enough for trusting me with your big day! I’m a true believer that everything happens just the way it is supposed to – even if it looks completely different than the original plan! I’m honored and thankful that I got to help you celebrate this day. I pray your marriage is full of more joy with every day that passes and that even your wildest prayers are answered! Congratulations and thank you for this amazingly sweet review… <3
