North Georgia Engagement Photography | Sarah+David
Sarah and David found Five Fourteen through word of mouth. I met Sarah’s sister in law, Stephanie when we served out our brideslave duties at my own brother’s wedding. Yes, I said brideSlave! Not because my sister in law was a bridezilla (she was NOT) but because that’s what she called us-and it was funny! So by the time I met Sarah in person, I felt like I already knew half of her family.
Back to Sarah and David… Aren’t these two gorgeous together?!! They met one night about four years ago while out dancing with their friends. I chuckled a little when Sarah said he asked her to dance with him but she turned him down initially. Little did they know that night- that God planned them dancing together for the rest of their lives! These are the kind of stories I love to hear because they remind me of Rick and myself; they remind me that God sees things in people you may not see in them at first glance.
When Sarah said she wanted to take their engagement photos at Hurricane Shoals Park I got ecstatic; this place is a wedding photographers dream location! Sarah was also baptized in the river here, so the sentimental value of that just adds to the charm. Rick and I had a wonderful time walking the park with these two and getting to know them better. They were naturals in front of the lens and so easy to work with. I can say we are even more ecstatic to shoot their April wedding at the Rosabelle Manor in just a few months! Enjoy!
