Tate House Wedding

The Tate House Wedding Venue is a historic mansion made of rare pink marble nestled on a gorgeous southern plantation in Tate, Georgia.  This place is sight to see!  There is so much history at The Tate House and its beautifully preserved by the lovely staff who take great care of it today.  In the early 1800’s it was once the home of Col. Samuel Tate, owner of Georgia Marble Company. Today The Tate House is a premier luxury wedding venue just north of Atlanta which has been named one of Georgia’s Most Gorgeous Wedding Venue’s by The Venue Report.

Getting Ready at the Tate House Wedding Suite

The ladies began the day getting ready for the wedding in the gorgeous two-story bridal cottage on site at the Tate House Wedding Venue.  The morning was full of smiles and laughter between our bride, Amanda and her bridesmaids.  I remember when we met Amanda at a bridal show last year; she was so excited to tell us about her beautiful southern wedding dream and now the day has come for her to marry her high school sweetheart and best friend!

Let’s just take a minute to talk about how gorgeous Amanda’s A-Line, Satin and Lace, button-down, wedding dress is!!! The deep neck line elevated her romantic wedding dress with a little flirty factor! Our groom was definitely blown away when he saw her walking down the aisle in this beauty!

Blush Pink Bridesmaids

The bridesmaids were stunning in their mis-matched blush pink bridesmaids dresses! I loved how their was a mixture of blush pink hues, textures, and dress styles.  I hope this trend of coordinating bridesmaids dresses never goes away; I mean just look at how those sequin dresses pop next to those off the shoulder southern-bell chiffon dresses! Hello blush pink southern wedding dreams!!!

Our groom, Mitchell spend the morning hanging out with his dad and groomsmen at The Tate House Wedding Venue’s Groom’s Cabin, also on the plantation.  While he put on his handsome grey and pink grooms suit, he was all smiles!  Seven years of dating his high school sweetheart has come down to this very special day!

Tate House Wedding Ceremony

The Tate House Wedding Ceremony Pavilion is nothing short of spectacular!  This all white ceremony space is surrounded with sliding floor to ceiling glass doors so that you always have that outdoor wedding feel, even inside.  This is a Joanna Gaines wedding dream come true!  If you’re looking for a light and airy wedding venue, this is it!!!  It even sprinkled a little during the ceremony, but no one ever noticed; how perfect is that?

As Amanda walked down the aisle to her groom, they locked eyes and you could feel all the emotions just by watching them!  They stood facing each other, hand in hand, as they promised their vows to each other, exchanged rings, and sealed it all with the first kiss.  It was a gorgeous ceremony with luxurious southern charm; a day that our bride and groom will never forget.

After the ceremony it was time for our favorite part of the day – bride and groom portraits!  We had so much fun walking around the Tate House Wedding Venue with the newlyweds!!!  These two know how to make each other laugh and Mitchell has a way of lighting up Amanda’s gorgeous smile!

Tate House Wedding Reception

The time has come to share the first dance, cut the cake, enjoy the gourmet meal, and dance the night away!  The Tate House Ballroom is simply elegant!  This truly is a luxury wedding venue in North Georgia; and it’s an all inclusive venue, too.  The staff is top-notch; they’re super friendly, welcoming, and on their A-game!  The flowers were beautifully lush and romantic, the table settings were luxurious, and the gourmet catering was honestly the best we’ve ever had at a wedding!  As Amanda and Mitchell spent the evening dancing and mingling with their family and friends, this is sure to be a night none of them will ever forget!
