Margot and Michael’s Ventanas Wedding in Downtown Atlanta is one for our record books!  We have been anxiously awaiting this wedding day at Ventanas and when the day finally came, it was absolutely gorgeous!  I remember when Margot first contacted me about her vision for her beautiful wedding day; from the first phone call we were planning pictures in Centennial Olympic Park as well as the helipad on the top of the Ventanas Wedding Venue roof!!! Yes, I said roof!!! The view from the Ventanas helipad overlooks all of Atlanta and it is simply spectacular!!!

Hilton Garden Inn Hotel

Both the bride and groom had getting ready suites at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel which is attached to the Ventanas Wedding Venue. Margo spent the morning with her gorgeous bridesmaids, sisters, mom, and her adorable nieces who made the cutest jr. bridesmaids!

Michael and his groomsmen looked so handsome in their traditional black tuxes!  I just love a luxury wedding with traditional touches; who doesn’t love a good looking man in a black tux and bowtie?!

First Look at Centennial Olympic Park

We always love when our bride and groom choose to have a first look before the big ceremony!  It gives our couple a chance to see each other and be alone for a few moments before all the celebration begins and as an added bonus, keeps them from missing Cocktail Hour (Margot’s favorite part of a wedding).  Margot walked up behind her groom in her fun and flirty wedding dress and tapped him on the shoulder… You can tell Micheal LOVED the way she looked in it by the look on his face the first time he saw her as a bride!  She was glowing and he was the happiest guy on earth!

Our favorite part about a Ventanas wedding is access to the helipad on the rooftop!  I could’ve sat up here for hours just enjoying the view!  Every where you turn theres a city icon in your view; from the shiny new Mercedes-Benz Stadium to the ever so classic Westin, this is Atlanta at it’s finest.

I’ll never forget this ceremony; the way Margot never took her eyes off her groom and kept looking at him with the sweetest grin and the way Michael held his wife’s hand the entire time, gently rubbing his fingers across her palms.  They embraced each other the way you sometimes only see in the movies; they show a true, passionate, giving, selfless, loving, and adoring kind of love.  The sweet kind of love that reminds us all what is truly important in life. The kind of love that makes me so thankful God gifted us with the kind of talent that gets to witness such love on a regular basis.

This white and gold luxury reception decor and all white wedding flowers were among the best of the best!  Julie and her team at Unique Floral Expressions truly brings an expert artistic design to an already lovely venue!  Margot and Michaels white and gold vision was a showstopper, for sure!

Last but not least, it’s time to party!  The newlyweds danced the night away their family and closest of friends.  Their live band was amazing and kept everyone on the dance floor; yes, even us!  Rick and I can hardly refuse a good dance floor!  My favorite memory of this night is when Margot wrapped her arms around Michael’s neck with the biggest grin on her face – as they were dancing, she smiled so big and said “WE’RE MARRIED”!!!  I just can’t even!  This is why we love weddings – the Joy is absolutely infectious!
