This Wheeler House Wedding was our first official wedding of the year!  I have been counting down the days until we got to celebrate alongside of Brittany and Steven for their big wedding day as I’m sure, they had been counting down as well!  These two lovebirds have been together for 9 years!  You read that right, 9 years!  They’ve been married less than two weeks but next year they get to celebrate one decade!  I’m so amazed and inspired by relationships that stand the test of time!

The ladies started their day off sipping on mimosas while being pampered by Bombshell Creations.  Don’t they all look stunning?!  Once hair and makeup was complete everyone headed over to the venue to get our bride into her wedding dress and ready for her first look.  Brittany’s all lace fit and flare gown fit her like a glove and she was simply gorgeous as a bride!

 

It was just Brittany and her mom getting dressed.  NO ONE had seen her dress!  This was a perfect opportunity to have a bridesmaids reveal, which you all know I love to capture these reactions!

Steven wears a suit so well!  I gave him a hug as soon as I saw him and it took me back to their engagement session.  We started chatting about it and he said, “you mean our HOT engagement session”?!   Oh my… it was mid summer and it wasn’t just hot, it was humid!   Thankfully this day was perfect! A little cloudy but perfect temperature and the rain never even fell on us!  What a blessing!

Brittany and Steven opted to have a First Look and that’s always a great thing!  Just the look on Steven’s face says it all! They enjoyed a few sweet moments by themself then they rocked their portrait time!  They have so many bright, beautiful, and romantic portraits, I don’t know how they’ll ever pick favorites!  That’s the bonus of a First Look!

Hues of blue and gray may be my favorite wedding colors… who am I kidding? My closet is full of hues of blue and gray! This group of guys and gals were so fun, funny, and so outgoing!  Did I mention FUN!?!  They made our jobs easy!  If you’ve been following us for sometime, you may recognize one of those bridesmaids as one of our brides, also!  It just makes what we do so much sweeter when we get to celebrate together!

The time has finally come for our bride to make her way up the aisle as the two locked eyes, joined hands, exchanged rings, and vowed to put their marriage first.  It was a sweet ceremony full of all their closest family and friends and we were just honored to be a part. Mazel Tov!

There’s no better way to end a perfect day than with a perfect party!  Brittany and Steven shared a first dance, cut the cake, listened to some pretty awesome toasts, and then the DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long while our newlyweds danced the night away.  This was such an awesome party, I even got out on the dance floor!  I’m so grateful for this amazing thing I get to call a “job”.  I have so much fun!!!

The final image of the night is often times my favorite.  This is the beginning of the rest of their lives together!  You can’t contain this kind of joy!  When you’ve just had the best day of your life why not run through a trail of your favorite people cheering you on!?  Yes please!  Just check out those smiles!
