Wildcat Cliffs Country Club Wedding Pictures | Lindsay+Jake’s Wedding
It was such a joy to head to the mountains to photograph this Wildcat Cliffs Country Club Wedding in Highlands, NC! Lindsay and Jake spend a lot of their time in the Highlands and at this golf club, so naturally it was the most meaningful place for them to have their wedding ceremony!
The ladies spent their morning getting ready at a house nearby on the country club property. I love that Lindsay brought all local vendors from Georgia to North Carolina for her big day! Her favorite hair stylist, Cory, and makeup artist, Chelsea, from Princeton Salon in Gainesville is an absolute artist! Just look how gorgeous these ladies are…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m a softie when it comes to our grooms having their dad as their best man! The relationship between Jake and his dad, Wesley is a special one! Here is Jake and his guys getting ready for the big day …
Lindsay knew she wanted to have a first look reveal with her dad before the ceremony. I just LOVE his priceless reaction!
Even with zero chance of rain, a small and mighty storm swept through just moments before the ceremony was to start. That’s ok, though! Determined to have the ceremony on the first tee, we waited out the rain and delayed the start – and it was perfect just the way it was! It’s a great representation of the storms of life; we can’t control them – but we can control how we handle them! As you can see by the smiles on their faces, they handled it perfectly!
Lindsay was a gorgeous glowing bride in her satin ballgown with a sweetheart neckline. Jake could hardly contain himself as he saw his bride walking down the aisle to him. It’s moments like this that we live for!
If rain on your wedding day is good luck, then rain on your ceremony must mean an abundance of blessings!
The bridesmaids were breathtaking in their romantic dusty blue Bill Levkoff bridesmaids dressses; and we already know I’m a sucker for traditional black tuxes on the groom and groomsmen! If you’re looking for inspiration for a classic and luxurious wedding party, black tuxes are the way to go!
Our favorite part of the day is time we get to spend with just the bride and groom! Our groom, Jake has a way of making Lindsay smile and her laugh is absolutely contagious! No amount of clouds, rain, or wind could steal the joy from these two – just look at those smiles…
Gorgeous floral displays, a 5-teir wedding cake, and amazing food must mean it’s time for the party! The newlyweds danced the night away to the sounds of their amazing wedding band, Right to Party, who kept everyone on the dance floor! This was the wedding reception party of the year, you guys!
These two were so sweet as they danced their first dance as husband and wife to Etta James’ At Last
If you didn’t already have all the feels, check out mom watching the daddy-daddy daughter dance and dad watching the mother-son dance – be still my heart!
