Grace and Davis were two of the most amazing clients ever! I got to photograph their wedding last May at one of the most amazing Cleveland GA wedding venues, the Yonah Mountain Vineyards! The day started sunny, and slowly the clouds rolled in throughout the afternoon. This was so amazing, because I not only had a gorgeous day to work with, but the vines were just starting to bloom. This made for some great pictures and an even better wedding experience for this couple.

They are such a sweet couple! Grace and Davis met while in high school, but have been dating for six years. They’d often run cross country together and their bonds have only strengthened over time.  When Davis decided to propose, they were at a dinner date on the UGA campus and decided to take a stroll through the gardens there. That’s when he popped the question and she said yes!  But the big surprise was waiting in the bushes around them where all of their friends popped out to help celebrate and turned their date into an amazing engagement party! 

 

 

Their wedding day started with the girls getting ready in The Urban Farmhouse, a popular place for brides and those getting married. I arrived with hugs for everyone and joined in the celebration.  Grace is one of the sweetest brides ever;  she’s quiet, reserved and joyful!  She had all her best friends with her, getting into their bridesmaids dresses and getting ready.  We all traveled to Yonah Mountain Vineyard for her to get into her wedding dress in the bridal suite there. She was full to the brim with joy and having so much fun!

Davis, however, was nervous. So, I was thankful that we were at Yonah Mountain Vineyard in Cleveland, GA, my absolute favorite Wedding Venue. The staff here is fabulous and they did everything they could to make him comfortable and relaxed while he was waiting anxiously for his bride!  

 

 

Grace decided to do a first look with her bridesmaids and they absolutely loved her! And she did another first look with her father. He couldn’t believe how beautiful his little girl looked! 

 

 

When it was time for the wedding and Grace took her first step down the aisle, her and Davis’ song began playing. And that, he was not prepared for!!! Davis was so overwhelmed with emotion and, not wanting to cry, could hardly look up at his radiant bride as she walked down the aisle. Mom was whispering to him “Look up! Look up! Look at her!” 

 

 

As the two became one, they exchanged their vows and things only got better from there.  Next up was the reception where they partied the night away in the gorgeous ballroom. There were flowers everywhere. The two of them mingled for much of the wedding. People were dancing everywhere and there was so much joy and excitement there!   

 

 

Lastly, they had a bubble exit, kissed for the camera, and drove away in a convertible toward the rest of their lives together! 

 

 

Grace and Davis, I’m so thankful that you trusted me with your wedding day! It was such a joy to be the person that helped capture the moment as you made memories that you will cherish for the rest of your lives! I pray you both are filled with more love for each other with each day that passes and that God blesses you both with your wildest dreams!
