I’m so excited to FINALLY blog weddings post-quarantine!  This Yonah Mountain Winery Dream Wedding was the perfect day (and way) to get back in the groove of things and celebrate life full of joy! Make no mistake, the date was not as originally planned but God works that way… His timing was so, sooooo perfect anyway! There may have been masks, but no shortage of kisses and there may have been sanitizer, but no shortage of the love-bug (corny, I know).

Bride & Bridesmaids

 

The gorgeous bride, Allycia and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at the best local AirBnB in the area, The Urban Farmhouse! This place is a Chip and JoJo inspired farmhouse with all the light and airy feels.  This morning was not short on laughter or fun!  Once all the hair and makeup was complete we all headed on over to Yonah Mountain Vineyards bridal suite to slip the ladies into their dresses – which is when the day really starts to “feel real”.  I love being a part of the moment the bride looks at herself in the mirror for the first time after putting on her dress! The excitement is something you can not describe!

Groom & Groomsmen

Getting the men ready definitely doesn’t take as long as the women, but it is not short on emotion or importance.  As Matt got ready for the day, his dad and brother were both there to tidy up the final touches. The guys enjoyed a toast (or three), some laughs, and a game on the big screen, I believe.  Matt was just so ready to get this day started; after all – they had already waited out one pandemic postponement. It was time to finally give his bride his last name!

Its’ no secret we love a First Look here at Five Fourteen, and this one was no exception! Just look at the anticipation on Matt’s face as he awaits the moment his bride-to-be taps him on the shoulder and shows off her romantically fitted lace wedding gown!  Their reactions were priceless and so full of joy and laughter!

Is there any more romantic color theme than blush pink and navy?! I think not!  The only detail that made this crew even more good-looking were those lush dreamy bouquets and boutonnières designed by Blooming Hites.

You want to know what the the coolest detail of the day was? The weather! It rained a light soaking rain almost all morning. But we prayed, and we hoped, and Allycia spoke it to be – that we would have the ceremony outside… and we did!!! Check out the awesome low clouds lingering on the tips of Yonah Mountain. I’ve photographed many a wedding here, but I have never had the pleasure of seeing this!  It was truly unforgettable and so majestic! God is good and I’m always in awe of His favor in even the details of the rainfall!

Reception, Dinner, & Dancing

 

It’s the part of the day that everyone in attendance looks forward to – the PAAAAAAARTAY!  Between the bride and groom’s vision, Borrowed & Blue, Blooming Hites, and Bold Catering, this reception turned heads and surely left a lasting impression!  The entire staircase was decorated, each table had tall and lush arrangements and every corner was decorated! Even the buffet was a show stopper. This luxury wedding left no detail uncovered!  But aside from the details was the crowd!  Emerald Empire Band kept everyone on the dance floor while Yonah Mountain kept the drinks full and the atmosphere fun!

Allycia and Matt, I’m so sad this day has already come and gone because I had SO MUCH FUN with you two, your friends, and your amazing families!  I’m still wearing grandma’s Tetelestai bracelet with pride! But thank you! Thank you for trusting me with your big day! It was a blessing and an honor to celebrate alongside of you, serve you, encourage you and pray for you!  This day was just what my spirit needed in the middle of a pandemic and I was more blessed by you guys than you’ll ever know!  May you continue to grow in love  and joy with and for each other, may God open huge doors for you and keep you covered in a hedge of protection. And may you both continue to kill it in real estate! I love watching you two work together via the ‘gram!  Be blessed and don’t wait too long to get back in front of my lens! Hope to see y’all soon!
